Sales Consultant- St. John New Brunswick Location

Job description

Based in Saint John and reporting to the Director of Sales, the Workplace Consultant will be responsible for all aspects of their clients’ account portfolio encompassing the provincial market while directing new growth for ABI.

Specific Accountabilities:

* Establishes, maintains and develops relationships and resulting furniture sales with existing and prospective clients

* Analyzes client needs and develops solutions related to space planning, office layouts and product specification requirements

* Acquires new business and develops existing business by understanding the company’s capabilities to fit requirements, positions and levels called; documents call activity; and develops account profiles for top clients/prospects

* Prepares and delivers presentations to clients and potential customers

* Works closely with furniture support areas including design, customer service, project management and delivery and installation to ensure the project is delivered as specified

* Stays informed about vendor product lines and product changes/introductions, pricing/policy changes, lead times/deadlines and other essential information

Minimum Hiring Qualifications and Experience:* Business degree or 2 to 5 years relevant sales experience

* Computer literacy including competence in Windows-based desktop applications
