ABI is currently seeking a Workplace Consultant to join their team in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

This is a full-time permanent onsite position.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Workplace Consultant is ideally a detail-oriented individual with a passion for business development and interior design. This individual will connect with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to create inspiring workplaces.

 Accountabilities:

  • A high level of business development activity, including networking and meetings with prospects to find new leads and opportunities.
  • Determine client’s workplace issues and find efficient solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with current clients and discover new opportunities.
  • Support our clients and partners by quickly fulfilling their requests.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training.
  • Participate in networking opportunities and industry conferences and events.
  • Study and understand the latest offerings and research.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Valued Competencies:

  • A strong work ethic and desire to excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated with positive energy and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Focused attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of urgency.
  • Dependable, confident, able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure with short lead times and deadlines.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Previous experience in the Office Furniture industry will be considered an asset.
  • Design experience would be an asset.
