Executive Administrative Assistant – Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

ABI is currently seeking a full-time, Executive Administrative Assistant to join their team in the Dartmouth, NS office.

Position Summary:

 Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Administrative Assistant provides support in the areas of Administration, Information Technology, and Human Resources.  The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, and have strong computer skills.

 Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Support the CEO and Senior Management team in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Demonstrate continuous support, professional communication and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Maintain and manage accurate human resource files for all employees.
  • Administer employee benefits plan and cellular programs.
  • Perform special requests and projects as directed by management.
  • Update and administer policies and procedures on the company Intranet.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all IT support and liaise with external providers as required.
  • Manage all travel programs for the company.
  • Support and assist in managing the Receptionist/Concierge position.
  • Experience in Information Technology and Human Resources would be considered an asset.


  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
  • Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Experience in Information Technology and Human Resources would be considered an asset.
