The Nova Scotia Health Employees’ Pension Plan (NSHEPP) is a comprehensive and competitive defined benefit pension plan serving its members and participating employers. NSHEPP is one of the largest pension plans in Nova Scotia, serving over 30,000 active members at over 90 different employer sites.
Needing to revitalize their Bedford headquarters, NSHEPP engaged Atlantic Business Interiors (ABI) to redesign the existing offices and create a more light-filled open layout with private offices, meeting rooms and common/kitchen spaces.
To develop the new, modern workspace, ABI worked closely with the designer and NSHEPP to plan a comprehensive office footprint with private and collaboration spaces. A range of offices provided full privacy for individual work with fully ergonomic workstations. Common areas for collaborating and socializing were complemented with smaller meeting rooms and larger boardrooms. Working around some construction delays due to unforeseen circumstances in the building ceilings, the ABI team created an office environment everyone at NSHEPP loves.
